Privacy Policy
We collect the least data we can, and we are honest about it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have. It covers both the redfly.ai marketing website and the redfly synchronization service.
1. Who we are and what this covers
redfly is a product of Nautilus Research, Inc., doing business as redfly.ai ("redfly", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy applies to the redfly.ai marketing website and to the redfly software-as-a-service (SaaS) database-and-cache synchronization product. redfly is a business-to-business service; it is not a consumer application. 2. Information we collect
From the website. The redfly.ai website is a largely static marketing site. We do not set tracking cookies and we do not run analytics that fingerprint visitors. Our hosting provider retains brief, standard web-server logs (such as IP address and browser user-agent string) for a short period for security and reliability purposes.
When you contact us. If you send us an email, we receive and keep that message, the reply thread, and whatever contact details and information you choose to include in it.
From the SaaS product. To perform the synchronization work you authorize, redfly uses the database and Redis (cache) connection credentials you provide. These credentials are stored encrypted and are used solely to carry out the sync operations you have configured. Where redfly is deployed into your own cloud environment, which is the model we currently recommend, those credentials and your data remain inside your environment. Your account, subscription, and billing details are handled directly by redfly and are governed by this policy and your commercial agreement with us.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above to operate and maintain the website; to respond to your inquiries; to provision, run, and support the synchronization service you authorize; to process billing for your subscription; and to protect the security of our systems and comply with our legal obligations. We do not build advertising or behavioral profiles, and we do not use your information for targeted advertising.
4. Legal bases for processing
For individuals in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, and other regions with similar laws, we rely on the following legal bases as applicable: your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); the performance of a contract with you or your organization (running the service you provisioned); compliance with a legal obligation; and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
5. How we share information
We share information only with the service providers we need to run redfly, and only to the extent necessary. These include Microsoft (Azure for hosting and infrastructure) and our website hosting provider. We do not sell personal information. The databases and Redis instances you connect remain entirely yours; the credentials you provide are never shared with third parties and are used only to run your sync jobs. If redfly is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and we will continue to protect it under this policy.
6. Cookies and tracking
The redfly.ai marketing website sets no tracking cookies and runs no fingerprinting analytics. We do not track you across other websites or services.
7. AI and automated processing
The redfly.ai marketing website does not process personal data using artificial intelligence. The redfly synchronization service performs deterministic data replication between the systems you connect; it does not analyze your personal data with AI for profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
8. Data retention
We keep your connection credentials and account data only for as long as your service relationship and your authorization remain in effect, after which they are deleted in the ordinary course. We keep contact emails for a reasonable period to support our conversation and any follow-up. Web-server logs are retained only briefly by our hosting provider, as described above.
9. Security
We encrypt the connection credentials you provide and apply standard administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information in our care. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
redfly is a business-to-business service. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent you previously gave. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@redfly.ai and we will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law. Individuals in the EU or UK also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection supervisory authority. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have the rights granted under those laws, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion; we do not sell personal information.
12. Do Not Track
Because the redfly.ai website does not track visitors across websites, there is no cross-site tracking for a "Do Not Track" signal to disable. We honor your browser's privacy settings and do not follow you across the web.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date below. Material changes will be reflected here.
